We love our Babu Bath we came across it at the Pregnancy Expo in Frisco, Tx and I loved it instantly the idea of not having to be on our knees on our bathroom tub was what sold us. Now our baby loves it and im able to have painless bath times and i think that its wonderful that it transitions as our baby grows he will still be able to use it even when he is 4 years old. The quality of the tub is amazing and definitely luxury worth.

Once she started to get too big for the sink I started to search for a toddler tub that could also work at the sink. Babu Bath was the only option I found that was even close to washing your baby at sink height. Which is crazy because everyone I have talked to agrees that it is insanely hard to wash a baby in the tub on forearms and knees. Giving baby a bath in the tub left me in so much pain. I physically would not have been able to give my baby a bath if I hadn’t come across Babu Bath. May this small business flourish!

The home we moved into a few months before our baby was born didn't have a bath tub. We thought we'd be fine with sink baths or using that whale-shaped infant tub. That lasted 2 times! We realized with sink baths we'd have to make sure the sink was totally empty, which was a challenge in those tiring early postpartum days and with the bath on the shower floor we needed a stool for us to sit on and it just wasn't ergonomic. We wanted to be able to look forward to bath time, which already necessitates some prep in even the best conditions.I saw this posted when there were only 5 reviews and no photos. I was hesitant because of the price, but a few weeks later there were more reviews with photos showing how sturdy the tub was. So I took the plunge (pun intended) and bought it, figuring that a few sessions at the physical therapists office for a tweaked back could easily get up to $500.What we love:* How easy it was to put together.*How sturdy the tub is. The plastic is also very thick. I feel confident putting my baby in it and filling the tub with water.*The "post" that keeps the bath from sliding down. Of course we practice safe-bathing habits, but it's a lot more secure than many baby baths that just have a sling to keep the baby in a curved position.*Baby loves it too! The first time we put her in there she visibly relaxed and sighed. With the other baths she seemed more stressedWhat's okay but raises mild concerns*The drain tube came out one time. Admittedly I was holding the tube a bit weird so it'd go immediately down our shower drain, so I stopped doing that. That said, it made me wonder if we could buy a replacement part if we needed it*The squishy pad for the baby to lay on and goes around the post is nice. But I am concerned, based on reviews of other squishy bath pads--that it will get moldy sooner than we'd like. For now I make sure to give it a good ring. There are instructions for washing it in the machine, but I'm not sure about drying since there's no way to remove the suction cups and I don't want them warping with the heat. I also unzipped the pad and there's really no way to remove the filling and get it back it (so not sure why there are zippers anyway except to check for mold?) I suppose we could use a thick towel if this becomes unusable, but it goes back to my point about the option for buying replacement parts.Overall, we're pleased with this purchase. We'll see how using it without the legs goes in many months when she needs to transition.
Got this at the pregnancy convention and let me say it’s a game changer. We have a standup shower so while I shower, the baby takes a bath, and it’s been amazing for preventing postpartum depression because I’m able to take care of myself while taking care of her. You could take it off the stand and sit or leave it on and stand, and it’s so easy to build and use. My daughter loves it because she’s actually more in the water than you would with any of the other baths that you put into a normal bath so she stays warmer and more calm the entire time! When my mom watches her, she’s able to give her a bath without the back pain, it’s a well thought out product!!!
Absolutely love this tub and the transitions as growth begins. i feel like i can bathe my child and not have any pains from kneeling and bending. highly recommend for your registry.
I wish I had this with my first newborn!!I love that anyone in my family can help with bath time now!! From the grandparents who no longer have to throw themselves on the bath tub floor with aches and pains on their joins and have to get back up.This bath made my C-Section recovery so much easier than my first time around.Now, I look forward to bath time and I love that the baby can be in place thanks to the little seat back cushion. My babies used to flop around in the bath and bang their heads on the old bath tubs but Babu keeps her in place and is soooo comfy for her. She thinks she’s in a spa every time we bath her. She gets so excited.And I get even happier that I no longer have to crouch or bend over.My back is thanking me for it !
Expansive but worth it! Everything about this tub so far is a 10/10. Feel much more safe for our baby and our backs don’t hurt anymore haha.
This is such a great product.Having cared for many kids over the years as a nanny, mom and home daycare owner.This definitely saves your back.And also as baby grows it can be lowered to floor and use the second tub included for older child . This is great for car travel we plan to fill tub with all the needed baby gear and use for camping and car trips.Bonus when kids are grown that you can use a s a drink cooler on the legs.Is very sturdy when filled and of course you never leave kids alone while using any kind of tub!
In love with our Babu Bath! Not sure why this hasn’t been done sooner. It’s such a relief for my back and I can bathe my child with ease while recovering from my C-section. It’s especially convenient for showers with no tub but still way better than a standard tub or resorting to a sink. The quality and design are top notch, which is reassuring. This will be a staple in our family as it easily converts with your growing little one!
I have used pretty much all of the baby bathtubs available on the market and this is by far the best! We put it inside of the shower for easy clean up. The height is perfect so we aren’t bending over much and hurting our backs.Best of all…baby loves it!
The Babu Bath is amazing! Sturdy (about 25–30 lbs), tall at 36”, and saves my back completely. A little pricey, but worth every penny for the comfort and quality — plus it arrived the next day! And I love that it grows with my baby till toddler stage. WORTH IT

I’m so grateful for this product!!!!!! As soon as I saw it I had no doubt in my mind I had to have it. I wish I had this with my first ! This absolutely makes a huge difference in our day to day routine. I was so excited to get this and I must say when it arrived I was taken a back by the high quality of this bath. It’s hard to show the quality of this through the pics but It doesn’t compare to any other bath I’ve seen or used. Super well built and sturdy, super big compared to regular baby baths which is great for me because I am using this for my newborn but also my first (1.5 yo) . I also ordered the additional pillow in petal pink and tray and Im going to be getting another one for the other side. Bottom line it is WORTH EVERY PENNY

Looking forward to using our Babu Bath once our baby is born. It was simple to put together using the install video and love the height to keep my back and knees from hurting from bending down in a traditional bathtub. I also didn’t want to have to clean the sink in the kitchen before baby’s bath every time, along with having to bring all the bath essentials in there. Now everything can stay in the bathroom and fill the tub up simply using the shower head. Glad I found this tub!
